WIZ KIDS
In 2020, we created this project to teach technology to underprivileged kids who don't have access to a conventional computer science education. For our first initiative, we partnered with Care & Share India to teach computer science at their school of 850 kids. Our plan is to coach, teach, and help them pursue their passion in programming and flourish in a technological career.

Through weekly zoom meetings and asynchronous assignments, we want to start by teaching these kids the basics of computer science and programming logic with Scratch, a block based programming language created by members of the MIT Media Lab. Then we will move on to traditional programming with java and javascript and introduce them to the various possibilities of coding. Our goal is to greatly improve their programming skills in a matter of months so they can reach their full potential in technology. Any and all donations will go towards providing them with proper materials, programs, and computers to further their education.
GOAL:
Two ways you can get involved
