FIT-IN

Our plan is to collect and distribute clothing to orphanages in India, where children are often left without quality items. By providing children with proper clothing, we can reduce the differences between them and other children, which increases their confidence and helps them flourish in an academic setting. We hope that by setting them at an equal standing with everyone else, they will be able to focus on their future and succeed.

Over the course of 7 months, we collected, sorted, folded, and boxed approximately $7,000 worth of clothing for a total of around 2000 pieces in 25 boxes. Each box had approximately 80 pieces of clothing each, ranging from shirts and sweaters to shorts and pants in all different sizes. In order to ship these boxes, we partnered with Charity Crossing and were able to distribute them to around 200 kids in West Bengal through their Amphan Container.
